Introduction
This article describes how a technician can change a quote into a sale.
Basic requirements
The first step is to create an estimate or quote. That task is described in a different article. For more information, see:
1 Opening a quote
- On the technician’s app, scroll up and click the arrow beside the user image. A drop-down menu displays.
- Select Jobs. The Jobs page displays. It shows current dispatched jobs from the earliest start to the latest start.
- Locate the job with a quote that changes to a sale.
- Click the job. The Jobs page displays.
- Click Estimates on the main menu. The quote displays.
2 Converting to a sale
- With the quote open, click the Change to Sale button. The Authorize page displays.
- Enter the client’s name in the blank at the top of the Authorize page.
- Ask the client to read the text at the top of the page.
- Review the services, fees, and total on the Authorize page with the client.
- Obtain the client’s digital signature. Use a mouse or tablet pen.
- Click Reset to erase the signature box and start again.
- Click Save.
