Converting a Quote into a Sale with the Technician View

Introduction

This article describes how a technician can change a quote into a sale.

1 Opening a quote

1. On the technician’s app, scroll up and click the arrow beside the user image. A drop-down menu displays.
2. Select Jobs. The Jobs page displays. It shows current dispatched jobs from the earliest start to the latest start.
3. Locate the job with a quote that changes to a sale.
4. Click the job. The Jobs page displays.
5. Click Estimates on the main menu. The quote displays.

2 Converting to a sale

1. With the quote open, click the Change to Sale button. The Authorize page displays.
2. Enter the client’s name in the blank at the top of the Authorize page.
3. Ask the client to read the text at the top of the page.

4. Review the services, fees, and total on the Authorize page with the client.

5. Obtain the client’s digital signature. Use a mouse or tablet pen.
6. Click Reset to erase the signature box and start again.
7. Click Save.
